Galaxy Watch 7 is Samsung's most capable Health Connect source as of 2024, adding AI-based Energy Score and an upgraded BioActive sensor that improves overnight HRV measurement accuracy. It was the first Samsung watch to introduce the 3-in-1 BioActive sensor capable of simultaneous heart rate, SpO2, and bioelectrical impedance readings. All data writes to Health Connect and is immediately readable by FitMesh.

Energy Score is a Samsung-proprietary recovery metric combining sleep, HRV, and skin temperature. It stays inside Samsung Health and is not written to Health Connect as a standard data type. FitMesh reads the underlying data (sleep, HRV, SpO2) from Health Connect instead.
Does Galaxy Watch 7 support Google Health sync?+
Galaxy Watch 7 writes data to Health Connect, which is the local Android data layer. The new Google Health app also reads from Health Connect. Both FitMesh and Google Health can read your Watch 7 data simultaneously without conflict.
Is Galaxy Watch 7 compatible with non-Samsung Android phones?+
Yes. Galaxy Watch 7 works with any Android 11+ phone. On non-Samsung phones, the Galaxy Wearable app handles sync to Health Connect, and FitMesh reads from Health Connect normally.
