Oura Ring in the FitMesh app: sleep outside the Oura silo
Oura is among the best smart rings for sleep and recovery, but your data is locked in the Oura app. With FitMesh you can view it in the app alongside your other wearables. The personal web dashboard is not yet available.
Oura Ring is loved by athletes, biohackers, and anyone who wants to monitor sleep and recovery discreetly: no screen, no notifications, just sensors. The classic problem: Oura data stays in the Oura app and Oura cloud. If you want to view it on a PC, compare it with your Galaxy Watch data, or have an independent backup, there are no easy native options.
How it works today: Oura → Health Connect → FitMesh
The Oura app on Android writes some data to Health Connect: steps, calories, sleep (total duration and basic stages). FitMesh reads from Health Connect when you open the app, and in the background roughly every 15-30 minutes if you've disabled battery optimization.

Setup in 4 steps
- Install FitMesh Sync from the Play Store and sign in with Google.
- Open the Oura app on Android → Settings → Health Connect → enable sync for Sleep, Steps, Calories.
- In Health Connect → App permissions → FitMesh Sync → grant read access for Sleep, Steps, Calories, Heart Rate.
- Open the FitMesh app: your Oura data is there alongside other wearables.
Frequently asked questions
Will I see Oura's Readiness Score?+
Not today: Readiness Score does not appear in the official list of verified exports to Health Connect and remains inside the Oura app. Direct API integration is not active today. FitMesh reads supported categories via Health Connect (sleep with stages, steps, and calories).
Does it work with Oura Ring 3 and 4?+
Yes, both generations support sharing via the Oura app on Android. FitMesh reads the categories that the Oura app exports to Health Connect and that the user authorizes (such as sleep with stages, steps, and calories). Metrics not present in the official export list remain in the Oura app.
Do I need an Oura subscription to use FitMesh?+
For Gen 3 and Gen 4 models, an active Oura Membership is recommended so the ring continuously records and processes all biometric data within the Oura app, which is then shared with Health Connect.
